Region
The South West Region is made up of the Parishes of Glenelg - Wannon, Mortlake, Port Fairy, Lower Glenelg, Hamilton, Warrnambool and The Mission District of St Francis of Assisi. The provincial towns are: Warrnambool, Hamilton, Portland and Camperdown. These provide many services for the farming communities around them and each have significant industry nearby.
There are a lot of small communities including Casterton, Coleraine and Mortlake serving the farming communities around them. Our smaller Centres like Macarthur and Glenthompson are all trying to maintain faith communities with many of their population moving away.
There is significant tourism and festivals in the region. In the north of the Region we have the Grampians and to the south we have the Coast.
